As a non-profit hospital, all revenues earned are reinvested to better serve our patients and families. The hospital operates solely on the revenues received in return for the products and services provided. In other words, FRHS does not require the use of taxpayer dollars to operate.

In keeping with our mission, no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. In 2006 alone, the Hospital provided more than $47 million in uncompensated care including $1.2 million in charity care for families who would not otherwise have been able to afford it.
