Fayette Regional Awarded Grant

for Breast Cancer Awareness Program

The Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust has awarded a one year $14,400 grant to Fayette Regional Health System for its “Mammogrant” Breast Health Program.  This is the fifth year Fayette Regional has received funding from the Trust.  The funds provide screening mammograms for uninsured women in Fayette, Franklin, Rush, and Union Counties. 

“We are very grateful to have been awarded funding by the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust,” said Amanda Sudhoff, Community Outreach and Grant Coordinator.  “These funds will allow us to offer screening mammograms to our uninsured patients and increase our efforts to reach as many women as possible who otherwise may not receive this potentially lifesaving screening and education.”
