Fayette Regional Health System will offer free bone density screenings at the Fayette County Fair. Fayette Regional will have a booth which will be open from 5:00-8:00pm from Sunday, August 1 through Friday, August 6. If entering the midway from the 14 acres, the booth is west of the entrance to the midway, near the pavilion where the nightly dinners are held.
The free screening is open to the public. “This is a great opportunity for people to receive a valuable health screening free of charge,” said Amanda Sudhoff, Community Outreach Coordinator. “The bone density screening has become extremely popular with our community. It’s easy to do and only takes a few minutes.” Fayette Regional staff will be available to discuss the screening results and answer any questions.
