Connersville High School Track Coach, Kelli House, is the race director, and she is looking forward to the excitement it will bring to the CHS kids and the community.

“The Fayette 5K offers an exciting flat and fast course that has proven to be a favorite of all local runners,” House said. “I expect this year’s Fayette 5K to be another great success for our community, FRHS and the Connersville track team. We have high hopes that this year we will increase our registrations and draw even more people from surrounding areas. “

The course begins at the corner of Indiana Ave and 20th St, and heads north winding through Roberts Park before an exciting stretch run back down Indiana Ave to the finish.

All participants registered by March 21, 2019 are guaranteed to receive a commemorative Fayette 5K shirt. There will be trophies, door prizes and a FREE 2020 entry to the overall male and female run winners.
